Clarke Mixon attended Hendrix College and graduated from Vanderbilt University. He received a Masters in Business Administration and his law degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

He is a member of the Craighead County Bar Association and Arkansas Bar Association. He is also a former Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Craighead County, Arkansas.

His areas of specialty include Domestic Relations, Custody, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death and Criminal Law.
